When I started this business in 2010, there were a lot of unknowns. I didn’t know much about making chocolate, running a business, packaging, shipping, and how I was going to do all of this while being a mom. In fact, the only thing I did know is that there had to be a way to make great tasting, raw chocolate that was vegan-friendly.
Inspired by some of the good things that led me to change my lifestyle and improve my health, I named the company The Great Unbaked. My family & I poured our heart and soul into the company and learned how to make some delicious raw chocolate truffles & raw desserts through trial and a lot of errors.
Change to The Great Unbaked
After nailing down a process to make delicious raw, vegan-friendly chocolate, we set out to see what else we could adapt with our newly forged knowledge. Our cravings led the way to create a number of our favorite raw desserts. There was a brief addition of the name Karma Katcher Chocolates to separate our new raw chocolate from the raw dessert line but we quickly realized sticking with one name was best. We’ve been innovating and developing new delectable treats under The Great Unbaked banner until early this spring when I did some soul-searching.
A Clear Purpose And A Name To Show It
There simply weren’t enough hours in the day to keep up with everything in my life. I realized I needed to find what I was passionate about and focus solely on that. I love the desserts we had created (you can read more about that here: Looking For Our Frozen Desserts?) but they simply took too much time away from the reason I started this journey, creating great tasting, raw, vegan-friendly chocolate made with the best, all-natural ingredients.
I simplified the business and tried dozens of names before I found one that summed it all up. Super Natural Chocolate Company. Super great-tasting, all-Natural Chocolate made by a family-owned and operated Company. Rest assured, despite the change in the name, our commitment to producing the best raw, vegan chocolate hasn’t faltered.
Start looking for our new logo and packaging to hit the stores soon. In the meantime, you will still find The Great Unbaked logo and packaging until we finish the transition.
